The project is recognized as a project of special state importance and aims to determine the optimal development areas of the Rail Baltica railway infrastructure maintenance depots project and to determine the areas necessary for the development of communication networks engineering infrastructure and create conditions for the sustainable development of this infrastructure.

Correction of the solutions for the detailed plan of the zone C of Aukštieji Paneriai industrial district and change of the use of the land at Jočionių str. 55 to commercial land were performed and regulations for the use and management of the territory were established.

The special plan envisages the formation of corridors of communication networks and engineering infrastructure in areas designated for potential residential development. The communication system is being formed in accordance with the principles of sustainable mobility and taking into account all types of transport.

Change of the correction of solutions for the general plan of Birštonas resort

The territory of Birštonas which has the status of a resort is divided according to the planned land uses. Taking into account which activities should dominate in a particular territory, a predominant function is attributed to each territory. Functional zones include separate parts of urban blocks characterized by similarities between the natural environment and urban conditions and the planned functional use of the territory.
