The project was prepared in order to modernize the accesses of Raseiniai bus station and adapt them to the needs of people with disabilities, parents with small children, and guests and residents of the city. The aim was also to improve the aesthetic image of the public space and renew the archaic existing small architecture. The project was prepared on the basis of the investment project Increase of the Attractiveness of the Central Part of Raseiniai City (by Reconstructing the Vilnius Street and Modernizing Public Spaces Important to the Local Community) that was prepared in 2015.

The project envisaged the installation of new pavements and small architectural elements, preservation of existing greenery, and planting of new ornamental trees. In the designed area, next to the bus station building, a place for the bench for the old Raseiniai station fan club and an interactive information stand was envisaged, and the accent of the accesses is a river-type fountain. The fountain is equipped with small waterfalls. Also, crossings for pedestrians were made and video projectors on special supports were installed. These projectors are used to create visualizations on the surface of the water.
